Yes. According to the National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations, qualifying NEET-UG is mandatory for all Indian students who wish to study MBBS abroad and intend to practice medicine in India later.

Are degrees from foreign universities recognized in India?

Yes, medical degrees from universities listed with WHO and approved by the respective governments are recognized. After returning, students need to clear the NEXT / FMGE licensing exam to practice in India.

What is the medium of instruction for MBBS abroad?

The colleges recommended by Gleva Overseas Education teach the entire MBBS course in 100% English medium. We do not place students in bilingual programs.

What is the total duration of the MBBS course abroad?

The duration varies by country. It is generally 5 years of academic study plus 1 year of clinical internship (e.g. Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan) or 6 years including internship (e.g. Russia, Georgia).
